This was my fifth expedition to the mountains of the north. It was a college project aimed at highlighting the beauty of Kashmir beyond its troubled public persona that brought he here. From my house boat, I wondered at the beauty of the sarovar around me “ the crystal clear waters, luscious green trees, fresh mountain air. The beauty brought tears to my eyes. I fell in love with Kashmir all over again. Away from the prying, scandalous eyes of the world, there still existed a quiet whisper of peace.

Linen is considered the strongest of all natural fibres. Linen garments, therefore, are the perfect addition to conscious wardrobes. Made from the stalks of flax plants, linen has a low environmental impact and the production process is significantly less water intensive. As a natural fibre, linen is biodegradable.
