Bandhani begins with tying the fabric at multiple points before dyeing, where each knot resists colour to create its signature dotted pattern.

Once dyed, the shoulder is hand-smocked, gathered and stitched slowly to add structure and texture.

Traditional techniques come together over 8–10 days, balancing craft and comfort.
