Chanderi is a luxurious but lightweight fabric. Silk, cotton and zari are woven together on the warp and weft in various combinations to create different textures “ the resultant fabric is visually stunning and feels exceptionally comfortable. It is no surprise then that this fabric was favoured by royalty and continues to be a hot favourite, especially for the festive season. The fabric used for this blouse is a handloom weave. The process is time and labour intensive, but adds an inimitable beauty to the fabric. Choosing handloom products enables us to support smaller weavers while keeping alive our countrys rich weaving heritage.
