Phooler Mala is the one who never arrives empty-handed. She comes to Pujo carrying a little garland of her own, white cotton dotted with joyful red Bandhani, with every detail feeling like another flower added to the string.

But she saves her biggest bloom for the end. Her statement cutwork embroidered pallu unfurls like the grandest part of a flower mala, intricate and impossible to miss.
