The vibrant colours and heady fragrances in this lane were mesmerising. She stopped at a phoolwala and picked out a few jasmine gajras, which he happily packed in a few leaves and secured with a thin cotton thread. She hummed a merry tune as she went back home, to adorn her hair with the fresh flowers. It was the perfect start to a perfect day of abundance and joy.
