The morning begins with rituals, flowers, dhaak and the unmistakable buzz of a house getting ready for guests. She arrives in white and gold, carrying little reminders of Pujo rituals on her pallu, as though she’s keeping all the old stories close. But don’t let her grand ways fool you. Her red scallop lace has a playful streak, and those red tassels? They are always the first ones ready for adda.

She may belong to a Bonedi Bari, but she knows Pujo isn’t about standing in ceremony. It’s about opening the doors, calling everyone in, and making enough memories to talk about until next Pujo.

Meet Bonedi Bari, a saree with a little grandeur in her step and plenty of Pujo stories to tell. Crafted in a white cotton-viscose blend, she features delicate gold foil prints across the body and a statement pallu inspired by the rituals of Durga Pujo. Red scallop lace and playful red tassels add a pop of colour to the look. Festive, comfortable and full of character, she’s made for family gatherings, anjali, bhog and everything in between.
