I knew that travelling together and leaving our worries at home would help us to find a fresh perspective.
We booked our tickets for a five-day stay. We made sure to live life to the fullest during our stay “ from water sports, to local food, to visiting historic landmarks. On the last day, we indulged in a spot of pub-hopping, wearing our favourite sarees and dancing till our legs started to ache.
What we learned from that trip was never to let our age dull the child that lives in all of us. We must nurture and cherish that child, so that we can approach each stage of our lives with the same spirit of curiosity and discovery.

P.S. My mom is in a white and red SuTa saree too (see pic).
It's simply not as it looks in the picture. The saree is too transparent and delicate. Looks it is going to tear off easily.
