This saree is infused with glistening zari and features the Bandhani tie-dye craft, which is said to date back to the Indus Valley Civilisation (circa 4,000 BCE). The art of Bandhana is a highly skilled process and involves dyeing fabric that is tied tightly with a thread at several points by hand. This process produces a variety of patterns. The gorgeous magenta hue of this saree is certain to turn heads.
