Their colleges annual festival was fast-approaching and the girls music team was still undecided about what they wanted to do. While some of them wanted to channel their K-Pop divas, the rest of them were annoyed at the pastel-pink stereotype that would invariably affix itself to them, for the rest of the academic year. After several heated discussions, they finally reached common ground. As the curtains were raised, the audience witnessed a group of 15 sprightly young girls, draped in delicate pink and purple sarees. Their first song was a K-Pop hit, which perfectly suited their princess-like garb. But then, halfway through, the lights dimmed, the music changed, and theyd pulled out their guitars to sing a spirited medley of Pearl Jam and Nirvana. And just like that, theyd proved that unicorn princesses could be as tough as the occasion demanded.
